THE SPACE BETWEEN US 

NALD SPRING CONFERENCE 2012

27-28 March, The Tabernacle, Notting Hill.


At a time when the literature development landscape is facing significant change, The Space Between Us is a chance to think and talk about the future. A two day conference at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill, brings together literature development professionals to explore the influence of changing economic factors, hybrid art forms, emerging platforms and social technology.

Speakers with experience of new forms of publishing, online society, technology and gameing will invite us to rethink the possibilities ahead.

Day 1: Join us a day of provocations and debate followed by an evening meal and conference social, where we'll have readings and some newly commissioned work will be read and performed by Laura Dockrill, Helen Mort and Kei Miller. 

Day 2: Join us for a quick look back and look forward from three NALD members from our Advanced Mentoring Programme, Hants LDO Angela Hicken, Birmingham Book Festival Director Sara Beadle and Writer & Editor Sarah Hymas.  Then facilitator Beccy Owen, will lead a series of discussions using the Open Space format. What happens next, is up to the delegates.
